So you think you need mold testing…

You’ve come to the right place

Molds can be found everywhere and are not usually a problem unless they begin to grow indoors affecting indoor air quality.

Mold Inspection Arizona, a subsidiary of Zero Chemicals, LLC has extensive experience with mold inspection and sampling. According to the EPA, mold sampling should be conducted by professionals who have specific experience in designing mold sampling protocols, sampling methods and interpreting results. M.I.Az follows analytical methods recommended by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH).

Mold is dangerous… Leave it to the pros

Mold spores surround us everywhere all the time. When water damage occurs in your home it gives the largely benign airborne mold spores just the opportunity they need to grow and expand into a very serious health concern. Spores latch onto moisture and feed on the organic materials used to make your building. Learn more about Mold at the EPA Website.

Addressing mold growths professionally and adhering to industry standards is crucial to restoring the air safety of your home. ** HOME TESTING AND REMEDIATING IS STRONGLY DISCOURAGED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. **

So MIAz only does testing, not remediation?

There is money to be made in mold safety! Many companies try to offer you both the testing and the remediation. Don’t let these “one stop shops” take you to the cleaners! the person who prescribes what you need to pay for should not also be the one you're paying to do the work. Unlike companies that offer both testing and remediation services, we don't have a conflict of interest. We will even refer you to a trustworthy third party remediator if you do not already have one.

How Our Service Works

Once scheduled, an M.I.Az technician will come to your location to inspect the area and take Air-O-Cell and/or swab samples that will be sent off to an independent, AIHA accredited lab for count and identification (type) of airborne fungi.

Those numbers, along with the control sample will then be analyzed by an AIHA accredited inspector from Mold Inspector Arizona who will provide an electronic environmental assessment report with findings and recommendations as well as the raw lab numbers. The whole process generally takes 3-5 business days, however, rush options are available. Turnaround times and shipping policies are detailed at checkout.

If findings indicate contamination present above acceptable ranges of mold contamination, M.I.Az will recommend that the property owner work with a mold remediation company or contractor to remediate the contamination and retest post-remediation.

4

Your contractor/mold remediation company will develop a scope of work, manage and perform the remediation and M.I.Az will then retest post-remediation.
